How is your evening debrief?

“I felt like we had a great start. Did the simple things well. Bit of rough play at breakfast but got through unscathed.

Middle patch was tricky with many moving parts. The opposition was pressing hard. Whenever they saw a weakness they went right for it. As we were outnumbered, we needed to be flexible and tactical. Luckily we had a solid game plan that helped us align and be strong.

Good to finish off with a couple of big wins. Middle child melted down because I wouldn’t give her Panadol like her older sister who was sick. Youngest child melted down because I put his socks down the laundry shoot. Apparently, they were meant to go in his cot 🤷🏻‍♂️ I held my ground and we got through it.

We’ll bank the points. We won’t celebrate too hard because we know we’ve got to back it up tomorrow and the next day and the next day 😅… I’m taking it one day at a time. I’m feeling pretty good tonight and pumped for tomorrow’s game. The opposition has been in ripper form but we’ll back ourselves in.”
