Whilst listening to Nick Cave’s wonderful audiobook, Faith, Hope and Carnage, I became increasingly inspired by his journey with grief. At the time of the book, Nick lost his son, Arthur, in a tragic accident. Then more recently, Nick lost another son, Jethro. Losing two children. Just immense. I found solace in his story but also in his desire to be public in his mourning and with his grief. I have always felt that the more open I am and the more I share, the more I am able to deepen my own experience with grief which allows me to connect so much more intimately with others.

There are endless challenges when we lose someone or something. Grief can show up when losing a family member, a friend, a relationship, a job, or even a band calling it quits. It knows no bounds.

Yesterday, I was touched when a client and friend, Malcolm shared that he was listening to my episode on The Outback Mind podcast with Aaron Schultz where I share about my own Faith, Hope and Carnage.

My world, my life is dedicated to helping people move through their challenges and still kick ass 🙏
